We sell, design, fabricate and assemble material handling systems for customers all across the U.S. and we're currently seeking a full-time Production Machine Operator in our facility in West Memphis, AR, just across the bridge from Memphis, TN. This person will be trained to operate various types of machinery used in the production of our conveyor equipment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - H.S. diploma or equivalent; - Ability to convert decimal measurements to fractions and vice versa using a conversion chart; - physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lifting up to but no more than 50 lbs. - Ability to follow all supervisor directions including all safety work rules and use of PPE to include safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves, etc. - Basic welding knowledge. - Ability to accurately read a tape measure. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Professional manufacturing experience with machine operation. - Experience setting up and operating a manual lathe and vertical mill. Normal workweek is Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Some overtime available/required.
