Responsibilities: • Monitor • Cross-Train on other machines • Inspect finished products to make sure they meet standards. • Inspect incoming parts and materials to make sure they are correct. • Adhere to safety policies and procedures • Be able to work in extreme conditions, like high heat or cold. • Be able to make repetitive motions like lifting or bending for long periods of time. • Adheres to production schedule. • Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, and service goals. • Reports any unusual scheduling issues to the Supervisor. • Manually adjust guide assemblies, saw blades, cutters, rollers, and perforators, according to product specifications. • Examine work to detect defects and adjust machinery as necessary to correct production problems. • Train and assist helpers with job duties on the machine. • Complete production reports in an accurate and timely manner. • Comply with all company policies and procedures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Able to stand for long periods between breaks, reach and stoop, kneel and crouch, and climb ladders. • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds by team lifting. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
