Machinist - Paragould

Job Duties: • Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders and more • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accuracy • Select tools, load materials, and adjust machine settings based on job requirements • Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure consistent adjustments • Use precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges for accurate part inspections • Set up fixtures and perform manual machine set ups with hand tools • Deburr parts using hand tools or grinding/buffing equipment • Conduct final product inspections to verify conformance to quality standards • Safety operator forklift and hoists to move materials as needed • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Read and interpret blueprints and trouble shoot machining issues • Basic computer tasks - scanning, correcting errors Requirements: • Proven experience - CNC programming and machine operations • Skilled in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) • Strong knowledge of machining processes, quality control, inspections methods • Able to read and interpret blueprints • Manual machining experience is a plus • Able to lift up to 50 pounds • Able to use basic computers and programs • Able to lift, bend, reach, stand, stoop, twist, squat and perform repetitive physical tasks Work Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday w/ OT as needed Starting pay is $17 hourly but can be more based on experience. In this role, you'll be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines, as well as other machining tools, to produce precision metal parts.
