This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a highly motivated CNC Programmer to create and optimize CNC programs to support the production of high-quality components. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines using CAM software. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining operations. • Set up and operate CNC machines during prototype and production phases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and fixturing methods to maximize efficiency and tool life. • Perform program edits, troubleshoot issues, and make on-the-fly adjustments as needed. • Direct management of up to 12 associates. • Mentor entry-level associates, and teach set-ups and machine adjustments. The CNC Programmer will be overseeing the 6am-2:30pm shift, but there is some flexibility of schedule as a supervisory role. Salary range is $70-85,000 depending on experience.
