CNC Programmer

Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a CNC Programmer in Clarksdale, MS! This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking a highly motivated CNC Programmer to create and optimize CNC programs to support the production of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and blueprint reading, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines using CAM software. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine machining operations. • Set up and operate CNC machines during prototype and production phases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and fixturing methods to maximize efficiency and tool life. • Perform program edits, troubleshoot issues, and make on-the-fly adjustments as needed. • Direct management of up to 12 associates. • Mentor entry-level associates, and teach set-ups and machine adjustments. The CNC Programmer will be overseeing the 6am-2:30pm shift, but there is some flexibility of schedule as a supervisory role. Salary range is $70-85,000 depending on experience. Qualifications: • CNC programmer certification or technical school training is strongly preferred. • Prior supervisory experience, or strong professional experience and ready to move into a supervisory role. • 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining. • Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM, etc.). • Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens). • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality standards is a plus.
