Job Profile The company is hiring a Tool/Fixture Machinist who will be responsible for machining/maintaining tooling and die fixtures for various lines as well as assisting Mechanical and Electrical technicians with tooling of multiple equipment lines and performing preventive maintenance on the tooling, dies, and fixtures for the line in an industrial manufacturing environment. Primarily performs machining of the tooling, lifting device fabrication, and performing routine PMs, as well as some troubleshooting and repair of fixtures and equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to, lifting devices, heat treatment equipment, CNC machine tools, quenching equipment, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, winders, air handlers, and other equipment as required, as well as HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyor or R.O. systems and overhead cranes. Provides an intermediate level of expertise. Effectively communicates with the site management, team, and the customer to understand requirements, solve electrical problems, and provide solutions to manufacturing problems. Identifies and corrects any safety-related issues and performs independent equipment evaluations to identify potential failures. General Maintenance of equipment will also be required. Education Level • High School Diploma or demonstrated equivalent Work Experience • 3 years of experience as a tool and fixture maker or machinist in an industrial environment or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. Duties/Responsibilities • Assists with setting up, maintenance, and installation of process machines. • Assists co-workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment. • Assists the team with maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, conveyors, and other equipment as required. • Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. • Assists in troubleshooting and making basic electrical/mechanical repairs to the machinery in the repair cell. • Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical systems control and operating systems as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Recommends activities to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance. • Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required. • Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers, and diagnostic hardware to perform work. • Demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer. • Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor. Preferred Qualifications • 10 years of experience as an industrial tool and die maker, machinist, or blacksmith. • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. • Experience in a CNC production environment. • Experience with welding, cutting, brazing, etc. • Experience in operations and maintenance in an industrial, large commercial, or logistics distribution environment. • Experience safely utilizing a wide variety of hand and power tools. • Forklift or aerial lift training and experience. • Basic computer skills for data entry, email, etc. • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including applying proper safety practices and following procedures while performing maintenance tasks. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher. Additional Information • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. • This position may require a valid Driver’s License. • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. • This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location. • This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules. • Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends. Physical Requirements • Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. • Requires ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. • Requires ability to use a variety of office equipment and to operate a computer keyboard to access databases, send/receive messages, and prepare documents. • Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations. • Requires the ability to differentiate colors about wire color-coding. • Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. • Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. • Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. • Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladders, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during a shift. • Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitively for the shift. • Requires the ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs. • Requires the ability to safely operate an Ariel Lift. • Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift. • Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. • Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, and squat repetitively during shift. • Requires the use of a Company/Client-approved utility knife. • Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement. Special Requirements • Wear steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed. • Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained. SNM Machine Operators 2nd and 3rd Shifts

• We are currently seeking SNM Machine Operators for 2nd & 3rd Shifts. Starting pay rate for 2nd Shift is $26.25 per hour (including shift differential) and 3rd Shift is $26.75 per hour (including shift differential). • * ### Responsibilities (included but not limited to): • Conduct the pre-operational inspection. • Adjust heat settings and enter operating parameters. • Enter correct code dates and required identity data. • Secure packaging materials, verify against the production schedule and position on the machine. • Conduct all the required Quality Checks and product safety checks at regular intervals throughout the shift. • Conduct repairs, replacements, lubrication and preventative measures as required. • Maintaining equipment and making necessary machine adjustments to meet product quality standards. • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF and established safety rules and regulations. • Maintaining accurate production records. • Give direction and leadership to all line personnel in a professional manner. • Maintain downtime tracking document including corrective actions, root and repetitive causes. • Posses full knowledge of cheese varieties to be shredded and cubed. • Be familiar with physical characteristics of the cheese and the effects on machinability. • Understand age and make-plant requirements. • Use cutting, cubing and shredding equipment setup for correct sizing. • Inspect powder application equipment setup and perform calibration/documentation. • Assemble and align guides, chutes and shrouding on the wrapper and scaling system. • Ensure the scaling operation is fully functional. • Understand and utilize box erecting, case sealing, and labeling equipment. • Perform cleaning/sanitation of the work area and equipment as needed. • Willing to assist in training for the position when needed. • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervision. ### Requirements • Must be mechanically inclined and able to satisfactorily complete pre-employment assessments to meet minimum requirements for the position. • Must be able to give and accept constructive criticism. • Good organizational and communication skills. • Must be proficient in math and problem solving abilities. • Needs to be able to work with and understand computers and HMIs. • Must be a self-starter, easily motivated, and require limited supervision. • Willing to assist in training for the position when needed. • Required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally. • Must be dependable and have a certain degree of flexibility to work overtime, different shifts and Saturdays when needed. ### Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
