2nd Shift CNC Machine Operator

This Position reports to: Production Supervisor Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality. Each day, you will execute the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance. You will also showcase your expertise by operating machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions. The work model for the role is: Onsite in Jonesboro, AR This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in Northeast Arkansas. You will be mainly accountable for: • Performing routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairing and fitting simple replacement parts. • Ensuring regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tools set-up, programming activities, and troubleshooting and reporting issues, if any; and maintaining detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities. • Keeping track of approved, defective units, and final products. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months related experience / training or combination • Able to read and comprehend safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction and procedure manuals • Able to present information to individuals/groups/clients by reports or correspondence • Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers, use fractions, decimals, compute rate, ratio, and percent into bar graphs More about us We value people from different backgrounds.
