CNC Machinist - Lathe / Mills 2nd Shift

The following list of job tasks and machine tools and equipment used is intended to be a representative example of the classification and may not include all the functions of the classification. JOB TASK LIST 1. loading and unloading parts to be machined 2. Setting up jobs 3. Programming of parts that do not have an existing program 4. Perform quality audit checks 5. Operate material handling equipment 6. Troubleshoot problems with tooling or parts 7. Accurately report labor on work order and Kronos 8. Clean work area daily 9. Perform routine maintenance 10. Adhere to all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, preferred work methods, and actively participate in safety training and initiatives 11. Other tasks as directed by supervisor LIST OF MACHINES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT USED 1. CNC milling center 2. CNC operated lathes 3. Calculator 4. Micrometer 5. Calipers 6. Bore gages 7. Hand tools 8. Tape measure – Imperial and metric 9. Material handling equipment – Overhead crane, forklift, jib crane 10. Others as required EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Read blueprints accurately and completely 2. Manual Machinist and CNC Programming Certificate, or two years of equivalent CNC experience 3. High school diploma or equivalent 4. Basic machining knowledge 5. Basic programming knowledge 6. Proficient math skills 7. Proficient PC skills

CNC Machinist Setup, Programmer, Operator (5+ preferred)

We are looking for a highly motivated person that has experience running, setting up and programming CNC Lathes with both live tooling and bar feeders. A history with 5S, AS9100 experience, leadership and forward thinking mentality, and a background in programming is an added benefit we are looking for. This is for our weekday or weekend shift, Monday through Thursday 10 hours shifts or Friday through Sunday working 12 hour shifts. You will be paid for an entire 40 hours of work and get up to 4 days off each week. We have a great family atmosphere that emphasizes developing our employees on a rewarding career path.
