Manufacturing CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: • Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules. • Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards. • Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions. • Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks. • Setup machines in accordance with job routings, set-up sheets, tooling drawings, component blueprints, and verbal instructions. • Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc. • Align with all safety and work instructions. • Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises. For This Role, You Will Need: • High School diploma or GED required. • Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs. • Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions. • Ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming (machinist positions). • Use of precision measurement tool and gauges. • Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: • Associates degree or equivalent experience in Machine Trades or Tool & Die. Journeyman Machinists encouraged to apply. • 2 - 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
