The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring that all products meet specifications and quality standards. Duties • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, according to specifications. • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. • Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of machined parts. • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software, including SolidWorks, as needed. • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes. • Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards of workmanship. • Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various machining tasks.
