CNC Operator Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. Duties • Set up and operate CNC machines, including press brake machines, to fabricate parts according to specifications. • Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure precise measurements and quality control. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAM programming instructions. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with the assembly line team to integrate machined components into final products. • Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to improve production efficiency. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. • Assist in tooling changes and fabrication processes as required. Requirements • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing facility. • Proficiency in machining processes, including knowledge of tooling and fabrication techniques. • Familiarity with CAM programming is preferred but not mandatory. • Ability to operate various hand tools and measuring equipment effectively. • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. • Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when necessary. • Previous or assembly line operations is a plus.
