CAM Machinist

Role Summary: Flowserve is hiring for an experienced CNC Machinist. In this position you will be responsible for the CNC machining and inspecting of manufactured components from the stainless-steel materials. This is a first shift position Monday-Thursday from 5:30 AM to 4:00PM Responsibilities: • Responsible for the operation of CNC Machining (3- axis turning, 5-axis turning and milling operations). • Able to follow drawing documentation and blueprints, paying close attention to detail. • Ensuring quality control and daily machine maintenance. • Full understanding of machine settings. • The ability to perform machining on a variety of materials including Stainless steel. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • 5-7 years relevant experience • Ability to read measuring devices such as scales and calipers. Preferred Experience / Skills: • HS Diploma / GED • Experience solving technical problems. • Ability to perform general machine shop math and calculations. CNC Operator - Second Shift

Job Details: • Our CNC Machine Operators are responsible for using our CNC machines to cut and shape our die castings to our customers’ specifications. • With direct supervision available, using programmed instructions, blueprints, and in accordance with standard shop practices, operate CNC machines to perform a sequence of operations such as turn, mill, drill, tap, bore, ream, and countersink a variety of parts. Individuals will occasionally assist in modification of set up to ensure machining within required specifications. Individuals must be able to work with calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, custom gauges, dial gauges, and digital gauges to visually identify defective parts. • No previous experience or post-secondary education is required. • Employees will be trained on how to complete job tasks such as reading prints, identifying nonconformance issues, and properly operating equipment necessary for the job. • This position is available for the Second shift. Second shift hours are from 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Some overtime may be required on Fridays. This position includes a signing bonus of $500 receivable in full at the completion of 6 months of employment! Job Type: Full-time.
