Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. • Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. • Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. • Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience: • High school diploma/GED • 7+ years' experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs • Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required. • Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers • Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver’s license • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
