We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of HVAC Installation Assistant Project Manager. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC equipment across multiple sites in the US. This role demands a strong background in commercial HVAC systems, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality service. Ensuring that these technologies are installed effectively and without issue is vital to the success of the organization. This role is for a key player among the impactful team which is tasked with ensuring that these technologies are installed with the utmost quality while ensuring optimal customer satisfaction. They will do this by leading installation site work, the details of Work Orders, and checking install completion surveys to ensure scope is completed correctly as a part of our Energy Force team. The successful candidate will have a background in project management functions within the HVAC field. Responsibilities: Site Estimation and Planning: o Conduct detailed site assessments to estimate the requirements for HVAC equipment installation. o Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop installation plans and timelines. o Evaluate site conditions Team Leadership: o Lead and manage installation teams across various locations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. o Provide training and mentorship to team members on installation techniques and safety standards. Quality Assurance: o Ensure all installations meet industry standards and company quality guidelines. o Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during the installation process. Customer Relations: o Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation phase, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction. o Collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure seamless transitions from installation to ongoing maintenance. Travel Requirements: o Willingness to travel 75% or more to various job sites across the US, adapting to changing project demands. Additional Responsibilities: • Works within the company Work Order Management system to ensure work orders are sent to all Energy Force technicians • Reviews installation surveys to ensure all required scope completion from technicians • Provide excellent and timely customer service through phone, email, and chat • Ensure utmost customer satisfaction (internal and external to Budderfly) throughout the Technical Services work order systems • Works to improve customer satisfaction throughout the Energy Force installation process Desired Skills and Experience: • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation and management. • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and relevant regulations. • Excellent communication, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. • Experience with project management software. • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in the HVAC industry. • Strong interpersonal, analytical, verbal and written communication skills • Coordinating multiple daily tasks concurrently • Demonstrated experience in customer phone service • Able to work as a team player and independently • Creative problem solver with ability to multi-task • Ability to work rotational weekend/holiday call • Passion for energy savings • Maintaining positive relationships with customers • Enjoys continuous learning, as supported by your organization, both technically and professionally • Work across / with organization Teams. In this position, the successful candidate will be in a technical role to diagnose and troubleshoot our technology, systems and equipment with customers and 3rd party vendors. You must be customer focused requiring you to prioritize multiple tickets and projects to balance your workload. Responsibilities: • Research and identify solutions to various problems related to energy-saving solutions including but not limited to HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, metering, etc. • Track customer issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits • Communicate with clients and 3rd party vendors through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat application • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., software developers) • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers • Ensure all issues are properly logged • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time • Follow up with clients to ensure their equipment is fully functional after troubleshooting • Prepare accurate and timely reports • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals • Deliver training to vendors on systems, processes, and technologies Desired Skills and Experience: • Industry-specific certification in HVAC, Refrigeration or Electrical preferred • Hands on field experience with HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills • Creative problem solver with the ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service • 5+ years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services. • Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently • Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows. • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution • Flexible hours required as field crews' schedules will vary and include some weekend and late night work. • 15% travel may be required Job Location: Remote Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
