We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Technical Support Associate-HVAC/R. In this position, the successful candidate will be in a technical role to diagnose and troubleshoot our HVAC/R technology, systems and equipment with customers and 3rd party vendors. You must be customer focused requiring you to prioritize multiple tickets and projects to balance your workload. A successful candidate must be eager to take a hands-on role in a fast paced, leading energy management company and want to be accountable for delivering results. Why this Role is Important: We combine monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades such as LED lighting, comprehensive HVAC/R solutions, Budderfly IoT devices, and temperature and refrigeration controls into an easy, one-stop solution. Your expertise is critical in supporting and identifying solutions related to our goal of energy-saving solutions. Responsibilities: • Research and identify solutions to various problems related to energy-saving solutions including but not limited to HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, metering, etc. • Track customer issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits • Technical Support call Q, ability to field 20+ calls a day of assisting technicians • Communicate with clients and 3rd party vendors through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat application • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., software developers) • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers • Ensure all issues are properly logged • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time • Follow up with clients to ensure their equipment is fully functional after troubleshooting • Prepare accurate and timely reports • Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals • Deliver training to vendors on systems, processes, and technologies Desired Skills and Experience: • Industry-specific certification in HVAC, Refrigeration or Electrical preferred • Hands on field experience with HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills • Creative problem solver with the ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service • 5+ years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services. • Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently • Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows. • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution • Flexible hours required as field crews' schedules will vary and include some weekend and late night work. • 15% travel may be required Job Location: Remote Our hours of operations are 7 days a week including holidays. RHVAC Technician

To repair refrigeration and HVAC mechanical and electrical systems throughout retail locations to support operations and minimize product loss, while ensuring partner satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain refrigeration and HVAC for a group of retail locations. • Repair equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customers’ expectations. • Establish effective regular communication with Site Management to ensure they are kept informed of all ongoing maintenance activities . • Liaise with Site Management team to ensure that all planned maintenance activities are communicated effectively including diagnosing equipment malfunctions and any operating deficiency of the mechanical equipment to ensure quality work performance. • Provide all required job updates on a timely basis. • Be proactive in refrigerant leak checking and repairs. • Maintain all assets for which you have responsibility to the highest standards. • Perform refrigeration/HVAC preventive maintenance checks in a timely manner as assigned. • Monitor and log refrigerant usage within assigned stores. • Maintain clean and safe conditions in machine and electrical rooms. • Communicate as needed with retail store location personnel to maintain refrigerated product integrity. • Participate in company’s “on call” after hours emergency call program. • Assist with trouble shooting problems. • Complete equipment inventories as assigned. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned. • Act in accordance with all company policies & procedures. • Additional Job Description QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications • Possesses a valid driver's license with a good driving record. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience with rack systems, displays cases and walk-ins highly preferred. • Journeyman qualified in refrigeration and HVAC systems, or equivalent work experience. • EPA certified for refrigerant handling class I & II, or universal. • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently. • Ability to understand and follow English instructions. • Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same. • Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check. • In-depth working knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration equipment, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems preferred. • Demonstrated basic computer skills, Refrigeration Controller Technology, Microsoft Outlook and Excel. • Demonstrated self-motivation and successful experience in previous jobs and responsibilities. • Above average troubleshooting and guest service skills. • Ability to multitask, work with limited supervision and make sound decisions quickly. • Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills. • High standard of integrity and reliability.
