Once instruction has been given to you by our Installation Manager, you are responsible for instructing your team and executing a professional install job. You will work hands on with your crew while installing a wide range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. It is your job to make sure the installation is done properly, safely, and to the high standards of Degree Heating & Cooling all while providing excellent customer service. About You: • You have 5+ years of field experience and are looking for an opportunity to grow and be better supported • You like to get the job done right the first time • A strong communicator and a natural at explaining basic maintenance suggestions to customers • You enjoy training and mentoring apprentices What You'll Do: • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers • Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of those heating, air conditioning and ventilation units • Maintain proper inventory, parts, tools, and knowledge in using appropriate safety equipment in the vehicle • Mentor and train apprentices on the job and provide them with learning opportunities • Diagnose service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations • Excellent customer service abilities in dealing with customers to resolve technical, logistical, and scheduling issues • Perform quality work with honesty and diligence and follow company procedures and values Must Haves: • 5+ years of field experience • Active Driver's License • Tech Savvy - The ability to use tablets and learn work related software with ease • Verifiable experience to develop quotations for repairs and installations of replacement equipment • Demonstrable analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals • Proven ability in installing, replacing, and serving HVAC systems in new residential and commercial properties • Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays) or on-call shifts when needed Pay Range: Pay is dependent on experience; up to $40/hr plus spiffs and bonuses. Top technicians earn over $120,000 per year.
