The HVAC Technician will perform field service maintenance and emergency repairs on telecommunication and data center HVAC equipment. The equipment consists of Marvair and Bard wall mount units, Carrier, Trane, Goodman residential split systems, McLean outside cabinet units and outside air economizer systems. • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems according to specifications and safety standards. • Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues by interpreting schematics and technical diagrams. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems. • Perform appliance repairs related to HVAC systems as needed. • Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during all service work. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and recommendations. • Document all service work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. • Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects or when additional support is required. • Willing to work nights and weekends on a rotating on-call team to respond to emergency calls 24/7. • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
