Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Technician to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of refrigeration cycles, components, and troubleshooting methods, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure systems are functioning safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: • Install, inspect, and test refrigeration systems and components (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators, piping). • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration and HVAC systems. • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and emergency repairs on refrigeration units. • Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations and industry best practices. • Maintain records of services, repairs, parts used, and customer interactions. • Ensure all systems comply with safety and environmental regulations. • Provide excellent customer service while responding to service calls or scheduled appointments. • Interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams. • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other technicians as needed. • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition. Barcode and document equipment for tracking of warranties, analyzing reliability, maintenance issues, and technical support. 7. Schedule and coordinate all equipment installation activities, in the absence of site leadership. 8. Complete all assigned work in a timely, efficient manner, according to company standards.
