Job Description We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Master Technician to join our Dining Maintenance team within Student Affairs, overseeing both campus dining halls and shared academic facilities housed within these buildings. Reporting to the Dining Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, efficiency, and reliability of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: o Install, Troubleshoot, and Repair: Manage hydronic heating and cooling systems, including steam, chilled water, and hot water systems. o System Components: Air handlers, energy recovery units, VAV boxes, fan coil units, pumps, variable frequency drives, valves, and piping. o Preventative Maintenance: Collaborate with the Dining Maintenance Manager and Supervisor to plan and implement effective preventative maintenance programs. o Training and Development: Provide hands-on training and support to trainee-level employees and identify educational opportunities for the department. o General Maintenance: Perform minor electrical, plumbing and dining equipment repairs as needed. o On-Call Rotation: Participate in the rotational on-call schedule, responding to after-hours maintenance calls when required.
