Key responsibilities include: • Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, components, and wiring • Designing and installing HVAC systems compliant with industry standards • Working with building automation control systems (Johnson Controls, Automated Logic, Tracer Summit, Honeywell, etc.) • Maintaining required certifications (i.e., a State Plumbing & Heating Contractor's License H-1, 2, or 3 or higher and a Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (Freon) recovery license) • Ability to work on chillers, boilers, cooling towers, chilled water pumps, hot water pumps, heat pumps, split HVAC systems, and packaged HVAC units. Must maintain a clean work area at all times. • Overseeing and assisting with training new maintenance mechanics • Operating safely in compliance with OSHA guidelines • Work will involve lifting up to 25 pounds and tasks requiring walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
