HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The HVAC Technician will work on various projects, ensuring that all systems operate effectively and meet safety standards. Duties • Maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment. • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. • Build and plumb new installations according to industry standards and specifications. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Skills • Strong knowledge of air conditioning principles, equipment repair techniques, and maintenance practices. • Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes. • Competence in using tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed. • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
