Commercial Hvac Technician

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing HVAC-R systems, starting up installed commercial HVAC-R systems, and performing regular maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC units. The technician will ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment. On-call duties and additional tasks may be required. Essential Skills • 3+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair. • EPA certification or willingness to take the EPA exam within a month of starting. • Ability to learn and take direction from supervisors. • Ability to work at heights and in varying temperatures. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. • Ability to sit, stand, and climb stairs and ladders. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Technical school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired but not required. • NATE certification or similar is desired. • Experience with DDC/Pneumatic control and boilers license is desired. • Refrigeration experience is a plus.
