THE TYPE OF HVAC TECHNICIAN WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 4+ years of HVAC experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license • Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, reach, push, pull, climb, and work in various environments • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds It's not required, but relevant industry education would be preferred. WHAT YOU DO This position works from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. Your primary responsibility is to troubleshoot, repair, and install various HVAC systems. You communicate with clients and provide them with the appropriate repair options for their individual needs. As needed, you also work on boilers and water heaters. Hvac service technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in various settings, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. • Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure efficient operation of equipment. • Conduct field service calls to address customer concerns and provide solutions. • Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving HVAC design and refrigeration systems. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on mechanical systems. Experience • Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC/R field is preferred. • Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation is a plus. • Knowledge of plumbing systems as they relate to air conditioning units is beneficial. • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is an asset. • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and property maintenance. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints. • A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. • Previous experience as a mechanic or in appliance repair will be considered advantageous. HVAC Counter/Inside Sales

Purpose: To support the counter/inside sales process for HVAC controls and related products and ensure customer service needs are met. Primary Responsibilities: • Execute entire inside sales process (including quotes and returns) including in-person/counter sales and phone orders in a timely and professional manner. • Fulfill the orders for Will Call pick up and follow up with the necessary customer communication. • Follow up regarding customer satisfaction inquiries. • Assist with updating/maintaining accurate customer databases. • Participate in updating seasonal inventory displays. • Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems in a prompt and professional manner. • Accommodate necessary changes in work schedule to support business needs (i.e. adjust work hours for the day or be able to work occasion overtime). • Make recommendations for product line (additions/deletions/min-max changes). • Know and understand manufacturer catalogs and literature. • Process credit cards following established PCI compliant procedures. • Keep up to date on market trends, new products, and the application of those products. • Contributes to evaluation and process improvement initiatives. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Participate in self learning and company directed training on and off site. • Other duties as assigned. Secondary Responsibilities: • Support Shipping/Receiving processes as needed. • Participates in inventory management support (i.e. inventory count). • Attend sales and other company meetings. Other Skills/Knowledge: • HVAC or Electrical experience or a degree/certification in these or a related field is preferred but not required • Exercise independent decision making and use discretion and judgement that is in line with company’s culture and business goals. • Able to build and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers. • Demonstrates integrity and accountability in all work activities. • Enthusiastic and energetic. • Participate in self learning and company directed training on and off site. • Willing to be cross-trained as required to meet necessary business goals. • Able to prioritize responsibilities and demonstrate effective time-management. • Able to articulate clearly in all verbal and written communication. • Effective computer skills to be able to work with and manage necessary job-related software and electronic communication: (i.e. Microsoft office365, inventory software, group/team project communication). • Able to safely lift 50lb, and safely push, pull a variety of sized items/boxes at City Desk and during shipping/receiving duties.
