HVAC ENTRY LEVEL SERVICE TECHNICIAN - RESIDENTIAL

Yes, we have plenty of work! More than we can handle to be sure! We are ready for you to start immediately. Where is your office located? Our office is in Chandler at Arizona Ave. and Guadalupe Do you work for home warranty companies? We do not provide services for third-party home warranty customers however, we do offer a unique home warranty product in house. You can learn more about it on our website. Do you work for property managers? We do not provide services for property management firms on an ongoing basis. From time to time we will take a service call for a land lord or a property manager but they do not receive special pricing or accommodation. How many trucks do you have? We currently have a total of 20 vehicles in our fleet. What kind of van would I be driving? You will get a comfortable, clean, dependable vehicle to drive. Most of our 20 trucks are regular Chevy Express or Ford Econoline type vans and are generally between about 5 and 10 years old. What about truck stock? What if I need parts that are not on the truck? All of our trucks are stocked with the essential parts and materials you will need for about 80% of your service calls. For those jobs that need something that is not on the truck you will have a company credit card to make those parts runs quick and easy. What areas do you serve? We service the entire Phoenix Metro area, but we focus most of our marketing in the east valley. What are the hours? Our offices are open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. You will be expected to be to your first job / appointment by 8am and our dispatchers will always work closely with you to get home on time. When are your tech meetings? We meet every Wednesday morning at 7am. Technicians are dispatched from home on all other days. What software do you use? HVAC Technician

• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection including Health and Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet. • Perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes. • Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record and deliver fees to designated office administration. • Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service. • Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators. • Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools. • Keep vehicle clean and in safe working order. • Ensure vehicle is stocked and accurately inventoried. • Return defective warranty parts to the branch. • Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems. • Inform a manager if the customer does not have HVAC service before leaving the call. • Facilitate rescheduling customer appointment, if call is not complete. • Accurately complete all required documentation on services performed. • Age and type of equipment. • Services completed. • Invoice with cost for services performed. • Train, coach and mentor apprentices. • Informs a manager or team leader of any safety issues. • Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times. • Maintain a professional image at all times by wearing company approved uniform. • Abide by all standards of performance and ethics. • Participate in company sponsored training classes. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships. • Manage operational metrics including average invoice total, callback ratios and labor margins. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the HVAC industry. • Knowledge of the fundamental operational functionality of residential air conditioning, heating, and ventilation equipment. • Able to troubleshoot problems with refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment. • Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail. • Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through. • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations. • Function in a team environment. • Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS. • Valid driver’s license, and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier. HVAC Install Technician / Apprentice

Chandler Air is a residential service company specializing in Heating & Air and has been in business for over 40 years. We have a tradition of treating our customers like family and we depend on building our business one referral at a time like we have since 1982. We are looking to bring on a HVAC technician into our HVAC Installs Department. We are looking for full-time members to be on our team. No experience required, but experience provides for higher pay and leadership opportunities. We will train you on the job with paid training included. We have a training facility with paid and/or reimbursement programs for licensing and schooling. Full time year round work, and we do not lay off or furlough. This is a professional business. The primary duties of an HVAC Install Technician are to perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems. Working in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service as this is primarily what we do. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed.
