Job description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyman Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background with 5 or more years’ experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Qualified candidate will be based around the Boone, Clay, Fayette, Greenbrier, Kanawha, Mercer, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahantas, Putnam, Raleigh, Roane, Summers, and Webster Counties. Duties · Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems. · Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation. · Perform routine maintenance tasks on various HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns. · Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC installations. · Collaborate with other technicians and field service teams to complete projects efficiently. · Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities. · Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems. Skills · Proficient in reading schematics related to HVAC systems. · Strong knowledge of HVAC principles and practices, including ammonia refrigeration. · Experience in field service operations within the HVAC industry. · Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment repair issues effectively. · Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients through excellent communication skills. · Familiarity with boiler systems is a plus. · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. · Boiler and Chiller experience is required · Installing HVAC equipment · Experienced with troubleshooting -rooftop units, chillers, boilers, split units, heat pumps, gas furnaces, refrigeration (freezers, coolers) Join our dedicated team of professionals as an HVAC Technician where your expertise will contribute to providing high-quality service in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning sectors.
