Assist in design review and commissioning of projects. Assist engineers with planning and organizing projects as they relate to electricity. • Performs outage planning for major electrical work. • Technical resource as needed for other OxyChem locations. • Responsible for the reliability of the power distribution system, the rectifiers, and all associated controls. • Plan, organize, and schedule jobs involving electricians and electrical contractors. • Identify equipment deficiencies and write work orders to correct them. • Periodically review the site electrical procedures for accuracy and compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
