Position Summary PTMW is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Electrical Department. This role is responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components across our production environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities • Install, wire, and terminate electrical components in accordance with 2023 NEC standards. • Ability to bend and install EMT/Rigid Conduit based on schematics per 2023 NEC standards. • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using appropriate testing devise and techniques (AC: 12V–480V, DC: 12V–125V). • Safety Compliance: Adhere to PTMW safety regulations to ensure safe working conditions. • Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure accurate installation and compliance with customer specifications. • Communication skills: Ability to communicate with other PTMW employees in problem solving situations. • Licensed electrician preferred (not required). • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) 2023. • Hands-on experience with: • Panelboards, transformers, transfer switches, switchgear, MCCs • Basic controls installation (HVAC, I/O, and Motor) • Basic installation: lights, generator/power receptacles, and load centers • Exterior HVAC Installation Skills (Refrigeration applications not required) • Power tools: conduit bender, conduit reamer, and battery-operated tools • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. • Proven experience in the Electrical Field. • Excellent troubleshooting skills with both AC and DC systems. • Completion of an apprenticeship program or trade school. You will also be responsible for related safety and housekeeping obligations throughout the facility. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Install, troubleshoot and maintain all electrical components and systems including electronic sensors, motors, drives, PLC systems • Layout, assemble, install and test electrical fixtures, control equipment and wiring • Inspect, maintain and repair wiring, motors, switchboards, switches, blown fuses, various indoor/outdoor lighting fixtures and electrical mechanisms at industrial level 110vac - 4160vac • Install, inspect, clean and lubricate AC and DC motors up to 2500 hp • Troubleshoot industrial control systems, e.g., hydraulics, temperature control systems with steam or electrical heat source, and chilled water as cooling source • Perform minor welding such as fabrication and installing brackets and panel mounts • Fit and connect conduit using various tools necessary to layout, cut, thread and bend as well as cut holes. • Work with and around live circuits and making hot taps when required • Maintain power, lights and alarms wiring systems (Facilities Maintenance) • Log or use computerized work order system for repair and maintenance activities performed • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, sketches, layouts, circuit diagrams or specifications • Abide by safe work standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), NFPA 70E (Arc flash) • Adhere to Goodyear's attendance policy • Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable. Projects Lead, Electrical

The Topeka, Kansas plant has a Full Time opening for a Technical Lead, Projects-Electrical in the Plant Engineering Team. It is an hourly, non-rotational, technical position with responsibilities to lead the trades and work related to electrical power, controls and instrumentation to support Capital Project execution and equipment installations across all areas of the plant, as well as support the Facility and Operations teams with maintenance and reliability issues KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for the manufacture of pet foods and snacks while complying with all food safety, quality and regulatory requirements. • Understand and support company and site safety policies and perform work-related activities in a safe manner.Recognize unsafe working conditions, coach peers and suggest new safety standards as appropriate. • Understand, follow and improve documented operational, maintenance and sanitation standards in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) work environment. • Supervise the electrical trade including daily planning and coordinating resources (equipment, contract labor and plant labor) as related to electrical power, controls and instrumentation to support equipment installations and start-ups in alignment with Operations and Capital Project schedules. • Provide support with supervision of electrical trade for Facility and Operations maintenance and reliability tasks as needed. • Assist in budgeting and procurement of equipment, materials and labor within established project budgets. • Assist with organization and maintenance of plant documentation and drawings related to electrical power and controls. • Provide assistance and support to R&D and TSO for Plant tests in manufacturing and packaging areas. • Support the adherence of NFPA 70e standards for facility. • Lead projects to improve safety, quality or production results in a designated area. • Work as part of a team and assist fellow employees when needed. • Model behaviors consistent with the Smucker Basic Beliefs, maintaining professional and respectful relationships with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Other duties as assigned.
