Journeyman Electrician - Vermont

About the position OminOn Power is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the Northeast region, with a preferred location in Hampshire or Vermont. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of electrical frameworks, as well as the detection and correction of faults in existing electrical systems. You will be expected to carry standard equipment and parts at all times, perform inspections, conduct assessments, and work closely with customers to identify issues that require attention. Your expertise will be crucial in performing installation and restoration work on electrical frameworks, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will communicate directly with customers, performing your own inspections to diagnose and address each task. You will work under minimal supervision, demonstrating critical thinking skills and experience in all facets of electrical work. A commitment to continuous learning is essential, as you will also have the opportunity to mentor apprentices on your team. You will be responsible for selecting and installing wires, plugs, panelboards, switchgear, and switchboards, as well as setting up and maintaining electrical machines. Monitoring inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and logging time and resources spent on each task to calculate costs will also be part of your responsibilities. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all relevant safety regulations.
