The Impact You Can Make Team Impact We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our hospital team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical distribution systems, associated equipment, and appliances in compliance with national, state and local electrical codes. This role includes performing installations, testing, inspection, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure reliable and safe electrical service throughout all hospital facilities and grounds. This position plays a critical role in supporting a safe and functional healthcare environment. How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Responsibilities • Receives and prioritize work orders, coordinating tasks to align with schedules set by managers. • Support the overall operation and maintenance of hospital electrical systems through effective communication and teamwork. • Maintain mechanical alarms and medical gas alarm systems. Troubleshoots and repairs electric motors, controllers, and other auxiliary electrical devices. • Annual testing of all high voltage switch gear and feed circuits to conform to all regulatory requirements.Install new wiring and electric machinery, working from prints and diagrams to determine layout, location, and specifications of items to be installed. • Education/Accredited Programs • High School Diploma or GED, in addition to one year of post-secondary education in the electrical maintenance and installation field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the facility electrical maintenance field • Or 5 years of progressive facility electrical maintenance experience or journeyman status. Licenses/Certifications/Registrations • NYS Drivers License required Skills/Abilities • Demonstrated electrical aptitude with proven on the job experience and on-going professional education. • Extensive skills in installing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and components, maintaining electrical distribution networks in industrial and healthcare settings, including emergency electricity generation. • Experience in control-wiring and programming desirable. • Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical testing equipment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. • Demonstrated ability to design and plan electrical installations. • Thrive in an environment where you can work independently with confidence. • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats. • Deliver a high standard of customer service in every interaction.Proficient in computer skills/technology. Industrial Electrician

A well-established manufacturer is currently searching for an Industrial Electrician at our Glens Falls, NY location. This position is responsible for installation, troubleshooting and servicing of production and support equipment within the facility along with project support and preventive/predictive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime while maintaining operational safety. Salary: $70-75K/year Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 430pm Location: Glens Falls, NY Essential Job Duties Include: • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits and/or components of all production equipment and building infrastructure • Develop and maintain PM schedule for electrical circuits and/or components of equipment and building • Plan or assist in setup and installation of new equipment and/or equipment components and/or plan or assist in dismantling obsolete equipment and/or components • Recommend and/or implement methods or system improvements to increase operational efficiency • Maintain IT Infrastructure-running Cat5/6 and Fiber-Optic cables • Set up and operate a variety of shop equipment • Ensure Safety compliance; Support a safety culture by administering and following all safety rules and regulations. • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized department.
