Position Details/Responsibilities • Perform electrical installations on multifamily and commercial projects • Learn and perform all scopes for large-scale electrical projects including distribution, rough, trim, and deck work • Provide input and coordinate with other trades on each project • Maintain safety and quality standards on all installations and tasks • Ensure code compliance by inspecting and testing electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or needed repairs. • The pay range for this role is: $38.00 - $48.00 dollars an hour. What You’ll Need • Experience installing and wiring access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation & wiring, and programming of door and camera additions. • Solid Construction skills and understanding of system plans. • Solid understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, cut sheets, wiring schematics, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support). • Very familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications. • Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. • Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.). • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • The Electrical Installer will be responsible for providing basic hand tools as required to perform the daily tasks of the position. • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
