Duties: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes - Renovate and upgrade existing electrical systems - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as framers and carpenters, to build and install electrical components - Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs - Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations - Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices Requirements: - Valid journeyperson electrician license - Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose electrical problems - Experience working with high voltage systems is preferred - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, climbing, lifting heavy objects, and working in confined spaces - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
