Do you have a passion for solving complex electrical problems and keeping high-powered systems running smoothly? Are you skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and installation in an industrial environment? If you're a licensed electrician ready to make an impact-this opportunity is for you! What You'll Do: Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems including motors, transformers, lighting, VFDs, switchgear, and control panels Troubleshoot and repair high- and low-voltage electrical systems and automation equipment Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, ammeters, infrared cameras, and megohm meters Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, single-line diagrams, and manuals Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades to maximize uptime and performance Work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and relay logic systems to support automation and control functions Support capital projects with new installations and infrastructure improvements Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety regulations Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs thoroughly Provide guidance and mentorship to electrical apprentices What We're Looking For: Experience: Minimum of 5 years in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry EducationLicensing: High school diploma or GED Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program Valid journeyman electrician license or certification Skills: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and industrial automation systems Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Mindset: Safety-first attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us? POSITION SUMMARY: The Electrical Apprentice will work under the direction of an Electrician performing installations, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems.
