Position Overview We are seeking a Connecticut Licensed Electrical Journeyman to join our Solar Installation Team. This role is ideal for an experienced, safety-minded electrician who enjoys working outdoors, leading installations, and being part of the renewable energy movement. You’ll work closely with our solar crew to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient electrical work on residential solar projects. Responsibilities • Perform electrical work associated with solar PV installations on residential properties. • Ensure all electrical installations comply with the NEC, state, and local codes. • Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and plans. • Coordinate with solar installation teams to complete system wiring, grounding, and interconnection. • Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting. • Lead and mentor apprentices or installation helpers on proper techniques and safety. • Communicate effectively with project managers and homeowners to ensure smooth project completion.
