We have an immediate need for a Hoist & Crane Electrician 1st shift (Onsite) FUNCTION: Perform the electrical work necessary to conduct hoist preventative maintenance and repair. Facilities systems and equipment - including construction with a focus on hoists, chain falls and associated systems. What You Will Do: • Perform overhead hoist, system maintenance and repair work as assigned and carry out preventive maintenance and service as required. • Assist others responsible for complex installation, overhaul and repair projects in preparing materials and operating equipment. • Under direction of Leader/Supervisor follow specific instructions and standard trade practices to obtain tools, material and equipment for carrying out work assignments on hoisting systems, control devices and related equipment. • Assist other trades working on joint projects where common skill crossover provides the opportunity for shared responsibilities and more effective us of available skills • Refer difficulties to leader/supervisor. • May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills. • May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses for hoist maintenance and certifications within assigned trade specialization. • Perform duties including electrical maintenance throughout the plant as assigned.
