SUMMARY: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Mizkan America safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), including Lock Out Tag Out procedures and required permits. Reports to Maintenance Supervisor and support production by responding to breakdown or trouble calls in a timely manner. Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability. May also be required to work with cross-functional teams including Safety, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, etc., to identify and/or implement improvements or solutions. Understand, troubleshoot, repair, and install 3-phase power distribution and motor control circuits and hardware. Understand, troubleshoot, repair, and install 24VDC, 24VAC, and 120VAC control circuits, devices, and hardware. Understand, troubleshoot, and correct sequencing issues. Monitor, troubleshoot, and program PLC logic. Understand, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install current loops and instrumentation devices. Able to read drawings, prints, and schematics; communicate with Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Planners, and Maintenance Storeroom to requisition parts and maintain spare parts inventory. Must be capable of working in CMMS to initiate work orders, complete assigned work orders, and log parts. Must be able to perform work in a clean, safe manner to ensure product quality and safety. Must be able to use testing equipment including digital multimeter, Megohmmeter insulation tester, HART communicator, Network Tester. Duties and responsibilities may evolve, and additional tasks may be assigned by Maintenance Supervisors or plant management as needed to support operational goals. EDUCATION: Equivalent to two-year degree vocational school education supplemented by maintenance training and/or experience to be competent and proficient in one or more of the traditional maintenance trades. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of five years’ applicable industrial electrical craft experience required. Must be able to read electrical schematics, have knowledge of shop mathematics, and use of measuring tools. Strong knowledge of computer systems including MS Office, WMS and ERP programs. Ability to learn new job-related software. Ethernet experience is preferred. Excellent attention to details and accuracy required. Must be respectful and work well with all levels of personnel. Great work attitude, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work overtime on short notice basis. Long-term, temporary assignments to any shift may be required to maintain manufacturing processes. Ability to work in high temperatures (hot or cold), working at heights and exposure to strong smells, dust, gases, fumes and chemical or require personal protective equipment.
