Charles Deweese Construction has an immediate opening for an Electrical Maintenance Technician at our Asphalt Plant. We are currently offering a $1,500 sign on bonus. Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Maintain Electrical and Mechanical Systems Electrical maintenance technicians must perform regular maintenance on existing systems and design maintenance schedules for all systems to ensure they remain in proper working order. Troubleshoot Electrical maintenance technicians troubleshoot and repair motors, mechanical circuits, and all mechanical and electrical systems. Perform Tests Routine and on-the-spot tests of all mechanical and electrical systems and circuits must be performed regularly by electrical maintenance technicians. Follow Safety Regulations Electrical maintenance technicians are responsible for following and maintaining all OSHA safety standards and regulations with everything they do. Skills and Qualifications: • Must be highly detail oriented • Minimum of two years electrical work experience is required • Journeyman electrician license is preferred We offer a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance as well as 401k retirement and vacation/holiday pay. See More Details >>Franklin, KY Onsite, Direct/Permanent Essential Funtions • Work from electronic diagrams, blueprints, schematics, job tickets, work request, written and/or verbal instructions. • Troubleshoot equipment and repair all electrical and electronic breakdowns. • Install, replace and repair microprocessors, replace programmable controllers, solid state controls, temperature controls, motors, gauges, and control panels. • Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers and generators. • Troubleshoot and program control programs as required. • Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment. • Assist in identifying and solving machine problems. • Use electrical and electronic test equipment including but not limited to oscilloscopes, voltmeter, ammeters, meggers, digital meters, calibration apparatus, and laptop computers. • Assist in the construction and installation of new equipment. • Follow all GMP, safety and company rules and regulations. • Maintain necessary records. • Perform safety checks on equipment. • Assistant other maintenance crews. • Move materials as necessary. • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. • Perform other duties as required or directed. Qualifications QUALIFIACITONS: • Associates degree in applied science or other technical degree preferred, or 3 + years in Industrial Maintenance • High School Diploma or GED • Previous manufacturing experience preferred • Must have excellent attendance • Maintain a safe work environment • Must be able to work overtime as required • Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner. • Ability to read and write.
