We are currently seeking a motivated and capable Electrician/Electrical Foreman with a minimum of 5 years of experience to run large projects. This position will predominantly focus on commercial projects based in Jonesboro, AR. Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive salary that aligns with your experience • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision insurance) • Paid vacation and holiday days Job Requirements & Qualifications: • Wiling to live by our Core Values • Understand our Mission and engage with their team to complete the mission • Minimum of 5 years in an electrician or foreman role • Knowledge of the current National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes, and does not take shortcuts • Ability to understand and install off of blueprints and specifications that are job specific • Deep understanding of both commercial and residential electrical systems • Ability to handle difficult customer issues • Experience with technology and inspecting installation daily • Understanding change orders, building plans, and installation manuals • Ability to excel in planning and executing the plan • Understanding contract documents • Ability to direct, train and grow others • A professional approach, able to represent Veracity Electric LLC positively to customers, vendors, and the public • Appropriate certifications and valid driver's license • Electrical license (preferred but not mandatory) • Willingness to pass a background check and drug test Desirable Personal Traits: • Ability to manage and lead effectively • Adaptable with excellent communication skills • Highly detailed, organized, and ability to work well under pressure • Self-motivated, with the ability to handle rapidly changing priorities and stay hyper-focused • Passionate about their work and professional growth Key Responsibilities: • Uphold a safe work environment by strictly following company and OSHA safety guidelines; promptly report any violations to immediate supervisor • Ensure all electrical work adheres to or surpasses current NEC and local jurisdiction requirements • Install electrical wiring and systems for commercial and multifamily projects, which includes pipe bending, wire pulling, and conduit running • Execute projects as contracted and designed • Work independently with minimal supervision in a high-paced setting • Foster a positive working atmosphere • Utilize various electrical tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely • Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor Mental Expectations: Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks and rapidly changing priorities. It's vital to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, even in challenging situations. A commitment to safety guidelines is mandatory. Leading and managing tasks efficiently is essential. Tasks And Qualifications What You Will Do In This Role: • Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality • Responsible for quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified • Responsible for on-site safety including but not limited to safety audits • Assists with routine equipment trial runs to ensure that it meets specifications and assure equipment is installed to Dematic standards • Provides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customer • Provides assistance with training of contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment • Writes concise, clear, and completes trip reports in the time frame required according to Dematic procedures • Identifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex • Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling; must be willing to be on call and travel accordingly • Push, pull, crawl, squat and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditions • Lift at least 50 lbs. What We Are Looking For • Ten years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment • Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Associate's Degree preferred. • Experience with quality assurance • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts - offer OT compensation • Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers, data base functions and communications. • Understanding personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required. • Possess a valid driver's license.
