High School Diploma or GED AND four (4) years of experience in commercial electrical trades is required. Completion of an apprenticeship in basic electrical practices is preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training may be applied in accordance with City of Las Cruces policy. Licenses/Certification(s) Valid driver’s license is required. Position requires an acceptable driving record in accordance with City of Las Cruces policies. State of New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license (EE-98J) required. Selected candidate must obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License within six months of employment.
