Our organization is in need of a skilled and highly dedicated Electrician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience as an Electrician, and has the ability to work in a collaborative environment with other professionals. We are looking for a person who has significant knowledge of electrical wiring, one who is responsible, analytical and responsible. ```Duties:``` - Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. - Renovate and upgrade electrical systems to meet current codes and standards. - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as framers and carpenters, to complete projects. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. - Troubleshoot electrical issues and use logic controllers to diagnose problems. - Install and maintain high voltage equipment and systems. - Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete electrical tasks. -Must be able to: Sit, stand or walk up to 8 hours per day Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally with some overhead lifting, and lift up to 20 lbs. frequently. Push/Pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Frequently Twist neck, reach above shoulder, use hands for fine actions, and grasp items. Occasionally Twist torso, climb stairs and ladders, bend at waist, reach below shoulder, and use hands for keyboarding. Seldom crawl on hands and knees, Balance, use foot pedals and other devices to raise or push . ```Qualifications:``` - Must have Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license. - Solid understanding of electrical principles and codes. - Experience in frame carpentry or as a maintenance person is a plus. - Proficiency in industrial electrical work is highly desirable. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately. - Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose electrical issues effectively. - Familiarity with power tools commonly used in electrical work.
