Main duties and responsibilities The purpose of the day electrician's position is to perform repairs, preventive/predictive maintenance, testing, and process improvements on all mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and systems. The electrician must rely on their knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in order to troubleshoot malfunctions to equipment and systems and to repair and restore operation. The associate in this position will be expected to work overtime as needed and to fill in for absences on shift as needed. This position is located in La Grande, Oregon. Requirements Journeyman Electrician's license. Excellent attendance record. Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving. Advanced experience using power tools, measuring devices, and other hand tools. Experience in performing advanced preventive maintenance procedures. The ability to work with others in identifying and solving complex manufacturing problems. The ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
