Instrumentation & Electrical Controls (I&E) Technician - (Union) - Full-time

Advanced I&E Technician in a manufacturing setting - Using PLC Programming, HMI Interface, and Servo Drive systems, develops instrumentation systems for plant projects and diagnoses/repairs existing controls as well as implementing plant-wide management systems. Wage per CBA is $49.45/hour. “This is an advanced position, awarded to an individual based on skill, ability, efficiency and work history and may be hired from an outside source at the Company’s discretion. The individual must possess an accredited degree or certificate from an accredited college. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Be proficient in all industrial controls and systems. • Order/maintain spare parts • Have a high degree of troubleshooting abilities • Ability to work with Low voltage controls What This Role Does: • Develops instrumentation systems for plant projects and diagnoses/repairs existing controls. • Implements plant-wide management systems. • Interfaces with other departments to ensure our customers receive a top-notch product! We take great pride in what we do! Do you have: • The ability to work Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm, with flexibility for call-ins on nights and weekend • Skills in PLC Programming, HMI Interface, and Servo Drive systems • A stable work history, strong work ethic & the ability to think fast in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Required: • At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting (or education/ pending graduation) • Pass pre-employment background and drug screen. • Commitment to join the United Steelworkers (USW) Union upon being hired • We produce molded fiber trays for packaging and shipping apples, avocados, eggs and wine bottles.
