Journeyman Electrician

We are an open shop company with extensive experience in Industrial, Residential, and Commercial electrical construction—handling both design-build and plan/spec projects. Our preferred project size is $20,000–$500,000, though we have successfully completed larger projects. With an annual sales volume of $3–$6 million and a diverse, loyal customer base, we have more opportunities than we can currently staff. Responsibilities • Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for climate control, security, communications, and more • Read and interpret blueprints for electrical installations in factories, offices, homes, and other structures • Follow the National Electric Code (NEC) and comply with state and local building codes • Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls • Perform residential wiring, room additions, remodels, new construction layouts, and service upgrades • Proficiently bend conduit and lay out/sizing new circuitry Qualifications • 6 years of industry experience • Journeyman level skill • Basic knowledge of the NEC • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a willingness to train others Education & Skills • High school diploma or equivalent (required) • College or technical school preferred (experience may substitute) Working Conditions • Standing for long periods; frequent ladder and scaffold use • Varied job environments • Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces Compensation & Benefits • Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour DOE • Hours: 40–50 per week • Health Insurance: Paid by employer • Life Insurance: $15,000 provided by employer • Additional Insurance Options: Dental, short-term disability, accident, supplemental life • Retirement: 401(k) with 5% match + profit sharing • Paid Time Off: Vacation & holiday pay • Other Perks: Bonus opportunities, double time pay, overtime pay, relocation assistance, safety equipment provided Schedule • 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available • Overtime as needed Requirements • Must have verifiable experience • References required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) 5% Match • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Relocation assistance Work Location: In person

Counter Sales Associate Job Description: We're hiring Galesburg Electric/Industrial Supply is looking for an Inside Sales Associate. Duties include (but are not limited to): customer service (taking, filling & processing orders, handling customer inquiries/problems), light purchasing.
