Main Responsibilities What you will do: • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems in an industrial/manufacturing environment • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment • Install safety and distribution components: switches, resistors, circuit break panels, etc • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through conduits • Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulate cables, cleaning circuits, etc. • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units. • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs electronic tests and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuit boards, ensuring that systems are grounded. • Perform mechanic skills focus on electrical, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facility. • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
