Key Responsibilities • Respond to maintenance calls and troubleshoot power, control systems, and VFDs • Work independently to complete work orders • Read and interpret complex electrical schematics • Install, replace, move, or modify lighting, raceways, and equipment • Support technology installations: mount cameras, run/terminate Cat 6 cables • Diagnose and repair fire alarm systems • Maintain strong communication with customer staff and teammates • Navigate high-pressure breakdown situations with professionalism • Maintain food safety awareness and excellent housekeeping practices • Perform tasks in confined spaces, including occasional attic work Qualifications • Must possess a current Minnesota Journeyman Electrical License • Strong understanding of electrical systems: 480/277, 120/240/208, 24V AC/DC • Capable of independently managing service calls and installations • Experience with industrial environments and production equipment • Familiarity with networking systems and low-voltage work is a plus • Effective communicator with both clients and team members • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented, especially in food-safe environments • Able to handle pressure and multitask during machine downtime scenarios Benefits • Top-Tier Pay: $63.24 - $107/hr depending on qualifications and experience. • Overtime paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek • Double time pay for all hours worked on Saturdays • Overtime is required • Union Membership: Local 110 – full support and representation • Weekly Pay Cycle with Overtime Opportunities • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance via Local 110 • Access to Local 110 Training Programs for continued growth • Occasional gifts, sports events, and company gear (shirts, hats, sweatshirts, etc.) • Small team environment where your work is valued Schedule • Full Time – 2nd Shift - 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm • Schedule may be demanding; flexibility and reliability are essential Work Location Primarily in Minnesota (specific sites may vary) Equal Opportunity Employer Acorn Electric Inc is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Electrician - (Master or Journeyman)

Position Overview: As an active member of the production team on the plant floor, the Electrician (Master or Journeyman) will support the daily production activities at our three-piece can manufacturing operation. This position will interact closely with all aspects of the manufacturing process. The position is hands-on and will be required to cover a variety of duties and responsibilities. Troubleshooting issues with existing equipment is an essential part of keeping the manufacturing line productive. Job Responsibilities: As a Master Electrician: • In addition to the Journeyman responsibilities listed below, the Master Electrician will supervise and approve all electrical work done by electricians and journeymen. • Responsible for signing for all electrical work in the facility. As a Journeyman Electrician: • Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems, computers, building and machinery. This should include 480V 3 phase power as well as control systems. • Working knowledge of AC and DC power supplies, 3 phase, single phase, generators, PLC and electronic equipment. • Working knowledge and use of electronic or electrical testing equipment. • Work from and maintain electrical drawings, schematic and prints. • Working knowledge of electronic/electrical codes. • Assist in new installation and upgrades of plant equipment. • Conduct process check as required. • Work with outside contractors to maintain the fire alarm system in proper working order. • Maintain cleanliness of electrical shop and job sites, while practicing appropriate safety procedures. • Assist and support other production floor operations as required. • Properly complete all administrative tasks, including log books, data entry, jumper log and record keeping. • Meet all other duties and responsibilities of a team member of Crown Cork & Seal Skills and Qualifications: • Must have the appropriate licensing from the State of Minnesota • 3+ years in a manufacturing environment (preferred) • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems. • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints, electrical schematics and parts specifications.

A Journeyworker electrician at SSM is responsible for the daily maintenance for the electrical aspects of Upper School, Middle School, Residential Halls, Faculty residences, Sport complex, and St. James campus electrical systems.
