Facilities Electrician

Job Summary: Installs and maintains electrical distribution equipment for a large industrial operation. Provides expert repair and troubleshooting support to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing output. Abilities: • Understand electrical schematics, construction documents and applicable codes. • Diagnose and remedy electrical failures with both Facilities and manufacturing equipment. • Assist engineering with design of electrical distribution for equipment. • Respond to emergency and on call situations. • Provide expert oversite of outside electrical workers and vendor install personnel. Qualifications: • MN State Journeyman Electrical License. • Three years of experience in industrial setting. The estimated base hourly rate for the position is $41-$49. Overview We are seeking a person who wants to learn. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude about work and life. No experience necessary. We will train. If you have a background in electrical that is great but not require. We install equipment at cell phone sites. We do not climb towers. Our work is on the ground. If you can change a battery in a car you can learn to do what we do. Must have a drivers licence with no DUI’s. Must pass drug test. This is a great entry level job with lots of overtime. Lots of opportunities to be promoted. We travel quite a bit but most of our work is in Minnesota and Iowa. This is a great job for a recent high school graduate. No college degree necessary.
