Electrical Engineer

As the Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of our success and growth. The Electrical Engineer (EE) assists Design Ready Controls as a technical resource for controls panel manufacturing. The EE is responsible for overseeing all phases of the panel and projects from inception to shipment to assure they meet both customer requirements and adhere to UL and Design Ready Control standards. Job DescriptionElectrician Instructors are responsible for teaching various courses as assigned.We seek instructors who are dedicated to excellence in teaching and who desire to make a difference in the lives of our students. Teaching assignments will be located at the Riverland campus of Albert Lea. The instructor may be assigned to teach in a traditional classroom and lab format and online, hybrid, and interactive television formats. Classes meet during daytime hours.The candidate must be able to work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and college laboratory assistants in lab settings, demonstrate knowledge of and experience in assessment of student learning outcomes, participate in department meetings, curriculum development, and college-wide committees, and maintain ongoing professional development activities.Salary Range:$44,144.00 - $73,690.33Minimum QualificationsEducation RequirementTwo-year diploma in an electrician program or completion of a registered electrician apprenticeship program.Occupational Experience RequirementFour full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a licensed electrician in residential and commercial.Recency RequirementOne year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
