Electrician/Automation Tech

Overview Automation/Electrician - Days The Berry Global - Mankato Minnesota facility is searching for an Automation/Electrician specializing in Automation to fill a day shift opening. This position will support the plant by helping maintain and repair production equipment as needed. Duties and responsibilities include: • Maintain electronic & electrical systems in Plant • Calibration of electrical equipment • Maintain inventory of electrical components • Knowledge & use of PLC’s and Programming • Documentation of electrical systems • Maintaining required documents of equipment for ISO • Updating required computer software • General plant maintenance as needed • Oversee all electronic support in the plant Education and Experience: Master Electrical license not required, but desired. 2 years of Automation or PLC experience Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Installation of equipment and fabrication of necessary parts, as needed. Pay range: $32 - $48.49 per hour. Hours: 10 hour shift; working Tuesday - Friday from 6 am to 4 pm, with shared on-call schedule. Differential of $1.75 paid for all hours work between 5 pm and 5 am.
