Description This Electrical Inspector position is seeking an experienced Colorado Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician for electrical inspections. A candidate should have a keen eye for detail, direct experience in the permitting, installation, and alteration of electrical work for new construction projects, ideally in both residential and commercial applications. This individual will inspect various structures (industrial, commercial, residential, etc.) to ensure compliance with building codes. The Electrical Inspector reviews blueprints, diagrams and plans, and a variety of structures in progress and in final form, to ensure compliance with codes. Failed inspections require this role to issue correction notices and stop-work orders, as well as explanations of correction notices and building codes to various officials, agencies and the public. This work also involves responding to complaints regarding potential building code violations. Schedule This position typically operates on a traditional 5-day workweek (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) in the field and in-office. Essential Duties The Electrical Inspector is responsible for:  • Driving throughout the county to perform various types of inspections (plumbing, electrical, structural safety, etc.). • Note: Inspections in the field require extensive use of a ladder. • Employee MUST be able to lift 50-100 lbs. of material as needed for fieldwork and inspections. • Ensuring compliance with current building safety codes. • Interpreting plans and issuing written code interpretations. • Working with the Sheriff's Office and fire departments to evaluate hazardous conditions where appropriate. • Explaining product installation requirements and clarifying technical codes. • Issuing corrections and stop work orders. • Ensuring adherence of scope of work to accepted plans and documents. • Maintaining a wide variety of accurate records, forms and reports in conjunction with field inspections. • Providing customers field training pertaining to construction procedures and code interpretations. • Providing administrative backup for office staff. Electrical Maintenance Technician

A company in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This Electrical Maintenance Tech will be responsible for electrical system validation and verification, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit components. This includes circuit tracing, visual inspection, load banking, de-energizing and re-energizing circuitry depending on risk assessment, and configuration management such as documentation of as-built condition using CAD drawings and panel schedules. This Technician will also perform circuit component repair/replacement, troubleshoot system circuitry problems, perform infrared scanning of circuitry panels and switch gear, and perform other maintenance duties such as routine rounds to all mechanical and electrical rooms and operation of the uninterruptible power system (UPS - Eaton). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and coordinate closely with internal and external customers, have familiarity with a Windows-based work order system (Maximo), and have a strong understanding of PPE and NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Practices. This position is onsite full-time at Schriever SFB, and it is for a day shift electrician that works 8 hours Monday-Friday and covers a weekend every 4-5 weeks. The pay range for this role is $28.60-39.18/hr, depending on years and level of experience as well as certifications. Industrial Electrical Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing various systems including electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Your expertise will be vital in identifying equipment malfunctions and restoring operations while also supporting new installations. You will provide essential mechanical and electrical/electronic support throughout the facility. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: High School diploma or GED required. Preferred Additional Education: Associate's or Technical degree in electrical or related field. Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of processing methods, planning techniques, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential. Travel Requirements: Local travel may be required.
