Job description Castle Gate Engineering is looking for a journeyman electrician to join our team. Our company works with all types of energy producing customers to fit their needs in a changing and growing alternative energy world. We are looking for a skilled electrician to work in the renewable energy industry to schedule our maintenance and service programs. This job will include going to sites to troubleshoot solar and battery systems, scheduling subcontractors to perform emergency and routine service maintenance, track and monitor renewable energy production, inventory materials and machinery, install cameras, transport equipment, and onboard new customers. Must be able to be friendly with customers, have computer and organizational skills, technical electrician skills and a willingness to learn. Potential requirements would be someone who can complete the following: • Ability to complete tasks on their own • Knowledge of electrical components on a project • Ability to read electrical plans • Customer coordination and scheduling • Comfortable in Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word • Ability to work with vendors, subcontractors and customers. Work Hours & Benefits: This is an on site salary position with work expected during business hours Monday - Friday. Some travel will be required to go to job sites, mostly within a 4 hour radius.
