Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and framing techniques, with experience in both residential and commercial projects. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in constructing and assembling frameworks for buildings, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to design specifications. Your expertise in various framing methods and materials will be essential to the success of our projects. Responsibilities • Construct and assemble wooden and metal frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, roofs, stairs, windows, and siding. • Also need skills and knowledge about installing interior cabinets, doors, and millwork. • On time and full attendance is strongly enforced. • Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to cut, shape, and install framing materials. • Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. • Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as metal stud framing and metal building erection. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. • Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged frames as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on construction sites. Requirements • Proven experience in frame carpentry or related fields is essential. • Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment related to framing work. • Knowledge of trim carpentry techniques is a plus. • Familiarity with metal stud framing and metal building erection processes is desirable. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. • A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
