Overview Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the East Port Orchard, WA area. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $45-55/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: • Planning & Scheduling • Look ahead 3–4 weeks to ensure materials and equipment are available • Prepare and distribute weekly short-duration lookahead schedules • Set and track: Daily, weekly, and monthly production goals • Maintain project schedule and adjust as needed to meet deadlines • Direct field operations including: Scheduling and coordinating subcontractors • Directing crews • Coordinating material and equipment deliveries • Maintain field files: Update with new information, Post and update drawings • Conduct weekly safety meetings • Walk the site daily to ensure safe work practices • Monitor subcontractor work and performance • Conduct quality control checks regularly • Walk completed areas with subcontractors for final QC review Administrative • Confirm timecards are being filled out properly and daily • Note safety observations in daily reports • Complete daily field reports, including: • Subcontractors on site (crew size and hours) • Equipment on site (type and quantity) • Site visitors (names, company, and purpose) • Deliveries Responsibilities • In-depth understanding of construction techniques and processes • Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and specifications • Ability to develop construction schedules • Direct and manage crews with: Daily production goals & Weekly production goals • Proficient computer skills: • Creating spreadsheets • Email communication • Accessing files on a network • Working remotely Qualifications Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
