This role is responsible for performing basic framing and finish work, including stairway construction, door hanging, and structural repairs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities · Perform basic framing and finish work · Utilize knowledge of stairway construction, door hanging, and hardware · Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins or glue · Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. · Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures · Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned · Maintain a clean, safe, and secure job site · Proven track record demonstrating self-motivation and ability to operate independently · Forecast production schedule · Regular “on time” attendance · Able to work Saturdays and possibly Sundays, when needed · Willing and able to follow directions · Ethical, honest, and accountable · Meet milestone dates, floor/roof structure, dry-in etc. · Ensure quality control of materials and mechanical attachments in accordance with structural design · Safeguard materials against loss damage and minimize waste · Maintain daily tool log including, but not limited to, ladders, scaffolds, lasers, calibration, extension cords, and mechanical guards Supporting Duties & Responsibilities · Assist Superintendent to forecast long lead items by assessing schedule or accelerating current schedule Job Requirements · Education High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience · Experience Minimum of 2 years of carpentry experience • Special Skills Requires experience with hand and power tools on a project jobsite, knowledge of proper lifting protocol and able to wear personal protection equipment including eye protection, head protections, reflective outerwear and proper footwear. Ability to operate forklift of all sizes- Certified or ability to get certification as Rigger/ Signalman. · Certifications and/or Licenses First Aid and CPR trained Physical Requirements The physical demands of this job require transporting materials at various job sites, operating equipment/machinery, and performing construction-related tasks on an active construction site. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Compensation: • Hourly range (DOE): $25 - $35 per hour • Annual bonus opportunity based on company and individual performance. Position: Carpenter, Maintenance (U.S. Citizenship required) Location: Silverdale, WA AIM World Services is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The Maintenance Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, maintaining, and repairing wood-based structures and fixtures across a variety of facilities. This includes work on building frameworks, concrete forms, cabinetry, drywall, doors, and trim. The position requires a high level of skill in both rough and finished carpentry, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under general supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform skilled carpentry work, including constructing, repairing, and maintaining wood structures such as partitions, doors, floors, stairs, frameworks, and cabinetry. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal instructions to determine material requirements and installation procedures. • Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively. • Build and install cabinets, doors, window and door frames, and other wood components. • Repair or replace damaged framework or structures, including drywall and siding. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel as needed to complete multidisciplinary projects. • Perform incidental work in related trades when required. • Document work completed and maintained records as directed. • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least 4 years of verifiable experience in the carpentry trade. • Experience with cabinetwork and concrete formwork required. • Must own and maintain basic hand tools of the trade. • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various environments. • Must pass all required background checks and drug testing. • U.S. Citizenship required. • Must be able to meet physical and security requirements, including respirator qualification, if applicable. • Must obtain and maintain explosive certification if assigned to ordnance operations. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting. Work Environment & Physical Demands: • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl. • Regular exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying weather conditions. • Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights as necessary.
