Job Description: The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed construction drawings and models using AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Key responsibilities include: • Creating designs from rough sketches and specifications received from sales and customers. • Drafting detailed construction drawings and installations such as walls, roofs, floors, plumbing, electrical, cabinets, gas lines, duct prints, foundations elevations, etc. • Using computer-assisted design (CAD) equipment and software to create detailed drawings. • Conferring with production and quality control staff to resolve design details or problems. Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: • A minimum of an associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school which includes advanced training in AutoCAD, or two to five years' work experience using the AutoCAD software. • AutoCAD software experience using 2015 or higher. • Microsoft Office Suite. • Team player with strong communication skills.
